What is the Biblical gospel?

Each of us are commanded to, “always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you” 1 Peter 3:15. Whether we are sharing the gospel with a friend, a neighbor, a work colleague, or even street evangelism and open air street preaching, we dare not share anything other than the gospel as it is outlined in Scripture. It is only the true gospel that glorifies God and it is only the true gospel that saves, “for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1:16.
